Long time no post. Sorry about that. I’ve been quite busy with my web design business and kind of neglected my voice over site. My other business sort of takes over my life. I had no idea I had created such a monster. However, I’m having fun with it. I always say to aspiring actors that you need to have a side business to get you through the ups and downs of working as an actor. Having your own business is important because that way you never have to depend on anyone else but yourself to survive, and you can actually enjoy working as an actor, rather than stressing out about it. I decided to use my web design savvy to re-design my site and I hope you like it. I’m into purple so I had to add some splashes of that. I’ve never been one to be subtle.
I did a project at Bang Zoom Entertainment recently. It was so nice to be back there. I love seeing all my voice over friends. I was told I can’t divulge what the project was, but it was fun. Hopefully soon.
I’ve sort of been in a weird space as far as doing voice overs are concerned. Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE doing them and I’m certainly not retired. However, in light of what has been happening in the world (Boston, Sandy Hook, Aurora) I’m not as into doing violent stuff anymore. I think the beauty of having other interests such as web design, cooking, makes it easier to pick and choose.
I’m also getting antsy to go on another trip. If you’re looking for a convention guest I’m definitely available. I haven’t “signed up” on the guest circuit but am definitely open to be asked.
Oh, this is funny. I’m now working out at the Saban Health and Wellness Center in Woodland Hills. I did a ton of voiceovers for Saban Entertainment so I thought it was appropriate. It’s a beautiful building and they offer such a terrific deal for actors. The Jodie Foster Aquatic Center is fabulous too. Hopefully I’ll be back to looking slim and trim too. Being over a certain age makes it harder but I’m definitely working on it.
Hope you’re all doing well. Feel free to leave a comment. If you have any questions I’d love to answer them for you.
