Yes, I know. . . it’s been a while since I wrote in my blog. I’ve been blogging and podcasting and still do voice work. The other day, the cast of Robotech headed to the Harmony Gold offices to sign the new Robotech Commemorative Script Book. All proceeds from the sale of the books will be given to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. While I was there, I ran into Richard and Ellyn (Stern) Epcar, Barbara Goodson, Alexandra Kenworthy, and Melanie McQueen.
Steve and Tommy Yune and Kevin McKeever were excited to show us around and took us on a tour of their new offices. Apparently, with the Robotech movie and other projects in the works, they are expanding their space. We also went upstairs to visit Frank Agrama, CEO of Harmony Gold, who we all worked for during our Intersound days. He is in his 80’s now and I’m not sure he remembered who we all were. It was impressive seeing pictures in his office of him with President Obama, President Clinton, President Reagan, Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor and other dignitaries and celebrities. Frank is originally from Egypt.
The Commemorative Script Book contains actual scripts from Robotech, which is pretty cool. There are 100 signed copies. Yes, my fingers hurt after all that scribbling. Signatures include Rebecca Forstadt (me), Melanie MacQueen, Alexandra Kenworthy, Frank Catalano, Richard Epcar, Ellyn Stern Epcar, Barbara Goodson, Steve Kramer, Dan Woren, Svea Macek and Tony Oliver!
Talk to you soon!
